Senior Manager - Tax Compliance

Steve joined M+A Partners in 1997, qualifying as a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians in 2000 and becoming a Fellow of the Association in 2011.  He also qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2002.  

Steve oversees the firm’s tax compliance function for both personal and corporate clients.  He has particular experience of owner-managed businesses, including those potentially caught by the IR35 rules.

Members of Steve’s team ensure that clients meet their filing and payment deadlines whilst maximising available tax reliefs and undertaking routine tax planning exercises.

Steve is M+A Partners’ representative at the Norfolk Working Together group, a forum of tax practitioners and representatives from HM Revenue & Customs with links to the national Working Together initiative.  

He is a keen rugby player and is Treasurer of Crusaders Rugby Club on the outskirts of Norwich.  He also enjoys gardening, reading and listening to an extensive music collection.
