M+A Partners Attleborough is an independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers.

Mary-Anne Sargeant has been the Partner of our Attleborough office since 2010. Mary-Anne and her team provide professional accountancy and tax advice for a broad spectrum of clients, from brand new start-ups to well established family and owner managed businesses and from private individuals to companies.

M+A Partners Attleborough is part of the local business community and builds relationships with clients to understand their immediate and long-term needs. Our team works with clients across South Norfolk including in Watton, Wymondham, Snetterton and Thetford. We also have expertise within Suffolk, with an Accounts and Tax Manager ideally placed to assist businesses in Beccles, Bungay and Lowestoft.

A wide range of services are offered from making the move to self-employment; setting up a limited company; optimising personal and business tax reliefs; capital gains tax 60 day reporting; capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning; to of course dealing with the preparation of accounts, tax returns and VAT returns.

Mary-Anne joined M+A Partners in 2003 and was made a Partner in the firm in 2006. Mary-Anne and her team are based in our Attleborough office and provide professional accountancy and tax advice for a wide range of clients, from brand new start-ups to well-established family and owner-managed businesses and from private individuals to sole traders, partnerships and corporate clients.

Mary-Anne is a Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant and was placed top in the UK when she undertook her Chartered Institute of Tax exams. She is committed to building lasting relationships with clients, based on gaining a clear understanding of their current and future business needs and taxation issues.

With over 20 years’ experience within the profession, Mary-Anne has the knowledge and experience to provide a portfolio of accountancy and taxation services that support the establishment and ongoing development of a business. Working closely with clients to understand their immediate and long-term requirements, she gives knowledgeable advice that caters to each unique set of circumstances.

Mary-Anne provides guidance on all aspects of accountancy and tax, from deciding on the best business structure; making the move to self-employment; setting up a limited company and guiding clients on both how they work as well as their pitfalls; optimising personal and business tax reliefs; assisting with tax planning for private individuals and companies; to of course dealing with the preparation of accounts, tax returns and VAT returns.

Catherine became part of the M+A Partners team in 2015 and is an Accounts and Tax Senior Manager.

She is ACA qualified and is currently studying towards the CTA qualification.

Specialisms include dealing with owner-managed businesses and sole traders, she has a mixed portfolio undertaking both accounts and tax work.

Chelsea joined M+A Partners in February 2016 and is part of the team in our Attleborough office.

Currently studying towards her AAT qualification, Chelsea works with a wide range of clients, providing both accounts and tax services.

Chelsea is an expert in QuickBooks and is able to provide support to clients using this software package.

Tax Manager

David joined M+A Partners in December 2017 and has worked in accountancy firms in East Anglia and the North West of England in varying roles for over 38 years. He has specialised in advising and assisting owner-managed businesses and personal tax advice and compliance for over 33 years.

David provides compliance and advisory services for a range of clients including individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. He is a member of The Association of Accounting Technicians and also of the Association of Taxation Technicians.

Outside of work David has a trustee role and is an active member of his community.

Jemma joined M+A Partners Attleborough office in February 2020, having previously worked for another firm in the region.

She is AAT and ACCA qualified and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Jemma has over 20 years’ experience in practice and looks after a mixed portfolio of accounts and tax clients.

Jennie joined M+A Partners' Attleborough office in February 2024, having previously worked for another firm in the region.

She is ACA-qualified and has over 8 years of experience working with a wide range of businesses and individuals. Jennie looks after a mixed portfolio of accounts and tax clients.

In addition to working with clients in the Attleborough area, Jennie supports clients around her hometown of Beccles. She is eager to connect with local businesses and individuals in both locations to explore how we can assist with their accounting and tax affairs.

Leah joined M+A Partners in May 2022 after working in practice as an Accounts Assistant since 2005. She completed her MAAT qualification in December 2011.

Lisa Craggs

Lisa originally joined M+A Partners in May 2011, and after a period away from the firm, rejoined in November 2023.


Lisa has worked as a Tax Practitioner in a national solicitor’s firm and accountancy firms in East Anglia. She has more than 15 years’ experience within the tax sector, helping businesses and individuals with their tax planning and compliance needs, whilst also providing technical support to colleagues.


Lisa has particular experience with individuals, owner-managed businesses, advising on profit extraction, restructuring and VAT.


Lisa qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2013, where she was awarded the East Anglia Branch prize for her results in professional examinations. She also completed a professional award in Expert Witness evidence and practice in 2016.
