M+A Partners recently welcomed this year’s new trainee intake with an informal get-together ahead of their official start dates.
The evening gave the new recruits a chance to meet the team and get a feel for life at the firm, while providing an opportunity for Partners, Managers and current Trainees to share advice and experience.
The event was held at Norwich Theatre, providing a relaxed setting for everyone to start building connections. As a corporate member, M+A Partners enjoys supporting the theatre and it was a pleasure to host this, the firm’s second welcome event, once again at this excellent venue. The evening started with a fun twist on Bingo, where teams had to match interesting facts to the correct colleagues – a lively icebreaker. Phil Webster, the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, gave a warm welcome, guiding attendees through the upcoming onboarding events and offering insight into the firm’s culture and what to expect.
People and Culture Assistant, Sophie Metivier said of the evening “Our introductory evenings are a fantastic way for new trainees to get to know the friendly team at M+A Partners. With games, insight and great food, the event creates a relaxed atmosphere full of conversation and helpful takeaways. We very much look forward to seeing our 2026 intake again when they join the firm.”
This year, M+A Partners will be welcoming seven new trainees across Tax, Accounts and Audit in the Norwich and North Norfolk offices. The firm is also delighted to have a placement year team member returning after completing their studies.
