M+A Partners is a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants, Tax Specialists and Business Advisers. We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Manager within our Norwich office.

The Role

The role is to provide accounts services to our varied clients, whilst working with our more senior members of the team.

  • Managing a varied portfolio of clients, comprising sole
    traders, partnerships and limited companies;
  • Planning jobs for preparation by junior members of the team and working within budgets;
  • Preparing annual accounts when required;
  • Drafting corporation tax computations for review by the tax department;
  • Preparing management accounts and forecasts as well as other ad-hoc assignments;
  • Working directly with partners and liaising with clients to resolve queries;
  • Reviewing work of the more junior members of the team and providing feedback; and
  • Overseeing the training and development of junior members of the team, including assisting with queries when required.

The Candidate

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with minimum 2 years’ experience of managing a portfolio of clients;
  • Excellent ability to effectively network and introduce clients;
  • Excellent adherence to professional standards;
  • Competent individual who is able to work on their own initiative, as well as part of a team;
  • Confident in communicating with clients and other professional advisers;
  • Knowledgeable individual who will assist the ongoing development of junior members of the team;
  • Working knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks Online or Xero accounting packages is ideal but not essential; and
  • Committed to delivering quality work and excellent results.
