The Role
The firm is looking for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager/Manager, with UK corporation tax experience or applicants with general practice backgrounds who have a thorough understanding of UK taxes, in particular companies and business taxes. This role covers a wide spectrum of clients ranging from Healthcare, Manufacturing, Property, Tourism, Leisure, and Hospitality as well as small start-ups, OMBs, and large corporates.

This role sits within the Corporate Taxation team in the Tax department of our Firm based in Norwich. The successful candidate will be working closely with other team members and the Tax Partners.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Complex corporate compliance and advisory work;
- Work on tax due diligence with the corporate finance department;
- Client engagement and management;
- Responsible for quoting fees, raising fee invoices and managing their own WIP (work in progress);
- Liaising with other Managers and Assistant Managers within the office, to ensure deadlines are met;
- Working with Trainees and Assistants to support their workload and ongoing practical training; and
- Ensuring work is undertaken to comply with relevant professional standards.

The Candidate
- Minimum CTA qualified, and/or ACCA/ACA qualified
- At least three years practice experience dealing with corporate tax work or tax compliance;
- Experience in overseeing and reviewing the work of trainees;
- The ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously, happy to liaise with clients; and
- Working knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks Online, or Xero accounting packages is ideal.
