Every year, the M+A Partners’ trainee programme provides an opportunity for talented and dedicated individuals to join the firm, gaining valuable business skills from on-the-job learning and studying toward their chosen professional qualification. 2024 marks one of the firm’s largest intakes to date, highlighting a commitment to investing in the team and the breadth of services offered to clients.

2024 trainee group
This year, trainees comprise a diverse group – from school leavers and university graduates to undergraduates completing their placement year, and career changers drawn to the accountancy and tax professions. Trainees are selected from a broad range of academic backgrounds, with some having studied accountancy and finance, maths, and international business management, while others bring expertise from fields such as history and physics.

A unique group of trainees, with different experiences and outlooks, benefits the firm as a whole – supporting the value we place on embracing individual strengths to achieve more together. Trainees can take advantage of a collaborative culture and structured training path, offering the vision to see how they might develop within the firm. Over the years, the firm’s trainee programme has provided many of its current qualified accountants, auditors and tax advisers, including several who have progressed to Partner.
