Business resilience is a topic that resonates with organisations of all sizes. In an economic and regulatory environment that continues to evolve, businesses are having to respond to changing costs, legislation and expectations, while also keeping an eye on what future policy decisions, including the upcoming Budget, could mean for them.
Against this backdrop, our upcoming event, Business Resilience in Focus, will explore practical ways organisations can prepare for uncertainty, manage risks and respond effectively to both challenges and opportunities.
Taking place on Wednesday 16 September at Black Shuck Distillery in Hindolveston, the free morning event will bring together expert guidance and different perspectives on the issues businesses and their leaders, are navigating.
The M+A Partners team will cover areas including tax, support available to businesses and ways to identify and mitigate risk. This will be complemented by two different perspectives on resilience – from the experience of evolving a small business, including the ups and downs that come with it, to the people side of resilience and how we respond to uncertainty.
Sarah Saunders from Black Shuck Distillery will reflect on the experiences that have shaped the family-run business, its journey so far and the lessons learned along the way.
Business and Leadership Coach, Denise Markham Wroe from Open to Coaching will look at resilience from a people perspective, drawing on her experience of supporting organisations and individuals through uncertain times and helping them to unlock their potential.
The event will also provide an opportunity for local businesses to take away useful ideas, exchange views and connect with others over breakfast and refreshments.
Guests can stay on after the event for an optional tour of Black Shuck Distillery and discover more about the family-run business and its award-winning range of gins, rums, vodkas and liqueurs.
