From 1 February 2026, Companies House introduced changes to its fees as part of its annual review. This update includes several increases across company incorporation, registration, and partnership fees.
Key changes include:
- Confirmation statement filing fee: increasing from £34 to £50
- Company incorporation fee: increasing from £50 to £100
- Company strike off fee: decreasing from £33 (online) / £44 (paper) to £13 and £18 respectively.

Companies House explains that fee income continues to fund the incorporation of companies and the publication of accessible company information. The changes also support expanded powers under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act, enabling Companies House to better identify and remove false or misleading data from its registers.
As part of its wider modernisation programme, Companies House is strengthening its enforcement and anti-fraud measures. A key reform is the introduction of compulsory identity verification, which came into effect on 18 November 2025 and is designed to ensure that individuals setting up companies are who they claim to be.
