M+A Partners Corporate Finance team have assisted Gardline Shipping and its ultimate parent Royal Boskalis (Boskalis) in the successful disposal of C.A.Design Services Ltd (CADS) and its subsidiary Made by Prosper Ltd (Prosper).
CADS are UK leaders in retail space planning and space planning software and measured site surveys. Established in 1984, they work with several high-profile retail clients, helping them to create more effective and profitable spaces.
Having identified CADS as non-core to the group’s activities, Boskalis selected M+A Partners Corporate Finance to assist with the divestment via a multi-stage, competitive sales process.
The Corporate Finance team provided advice and project management throughout – specific services included validating and approaching potential buyers; analysis and negotiation of offers; managing presentations, Q&A sessions and the financial and tax due diligence process; working with other advisers to assist the drafting of contractual documents; and supporting the client in concluding the transaction.
