Local councils have published their budget consultations for the 2022-23 financial year.

These consultations provide residents and ratepayers with an opportunity to share their feedback on the proposed budgets prior to them being agreed in full.

The main sources of income for local authorities are council tax, business rates and income from chargeable services. The consultation enables you to share your views on the proposed council tax levels and spending plans for the coming year.

North Norfolk District Council have this year introduced an online consultation tool that enables respondents to amend budgets to see the consequences of each change.
