M+A Partners’ Tax department has made three management-level promotions, testimony to its continued growth and investment in the development of its team.

The three promotions comprise Andy Hart to Tax Manager, Andrew Sayer to Tax Manager and Alex Philpott to Tax Assistant Manager.

Andy Hart – Tax Manager

Andrew joined M+A Partners as a graduate trainee in 2017. Within our Tax department, he deals with the affairs of a range of clients including individuals, sole traders and partnerships as well as small to medium sized companies.

Andrew qualified as a member of the Association of Tax Technicians in 2019 and the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2021.

Andrew Sayer – Tax Manager

Andrew joined M+A Partners in 2016 after previously working at HM Revenue & Customs as a Tax Inspector carrying out enquiries into income tax and company tax returns.

He qualified as a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians in 2018 and completed his Chartered Tax Adviser qualification in 2021.

Andrew deals with the tax affairs of a range of clients including individuals, sole traders, partnerships and companies.

Alex Philpott – Tax Assistant Manager

Alex joined M+A Partners in August 2019, as a Graduate Trainee in our Tax department.

He qualified as a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians in 2022 and the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2023. Alex deals with the tax affairs of a range of clients including individuals and trusts.
