With three offices located in the centre of some prominent Norfolk communities, we are always exploring ways to give something back to local people, organisations and businesses.
Supporting local
We have some wonderful organisations on our doorstep and look to support as many initiatives as we are able, be it through sponsorship or employees donating their time.
Some of the organisations and events we currently support include Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Norwich Theatres, Sheringham Little Theatre, Attleborough Carnival, Attleborough Town Football Club, Cromer Carnival, Holt Festival, The Royal Norfolk Show and The Aylsham Show.
Fundraising
Our team is always willing to put themselves forward to attend local and charity fundraising events.
Fundraising is something we are proactive about, and we come together as a firm to generate support and ideas to help charitable organisations.
Spotlight Talks
Through our ‘Spotlight Talks’, we welcome representatives from local charities to give us an insight into their mission and the incredible work they do.
Volunteering and work for charities
With a dedicated and experienced Not for Profit team within the firm, we have a number of Partners that serve on the boards for various charitable organisations on a voluntary basis.
Strong links with the education sector has led to several employees undertaking school governor roles. We also have other team members that are committee members for professional institutes and bodies.
We understand how important these voluntary positions are and ensure they have the flexibility to be able to effectively carry out their roles.
Opportunities for the next generation
Each year we offer work placements to local schools for individuals that might be thinking about a career in accountancy or tax. Students work within a variety of departments and undertake tasks to help them develop their business and communication skills.
Attendance at careers fairs and sending out brochures to local academies and colleges, helps to raise awareness of the profession we work within and the opportunities available for school leavers.
We have arranged talks for motivational speakers to address children at local schools, highlighting the vast amount of opportunity available, the importance of ambition and a determination to succeed.
