The first set of measures under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act came into force today (4 March 2024).
The new measures provide Companies House with greater powers to query information, enabling them to reject information that seems incorrect or inconsistent with the register.

As part of the changes, Companies House are updating their fees – the fee increases are to recover the costs of their new powers being introduced through the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act.
