Applications for our Trainee Programme are now open.

Every year we welcome a new intake of Trainees and we ensure they quickly feel part of the friendly team environment we have created. Each of our Trainee Programmes is designed to make it possible for you to develop yourself as a professional.

At M+A Partners, our aim is to deliver exceptional service across all of the firm’s areas of expertise, including accounts, audit, tax, and property management. Integral to this aim are our people and we work hard to provide each of our colleagues the environment, platform, and opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Our trainee programmes play a pivotal role in the firm’s people strategy, enabling each trainee to gain business skills from on-the-job learning as well as providing them with the opportunity to study towards a professional accountancy or tax qualification. This approach gives all of our trainees the powerful combination of practical, forward-thinking prowess together with technical expertise.

Phil Webster
Chief Operating Officer

Phil joined M+A Partners in early 2022, in the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining the firm, Phil was Managing Director of a food import business for ten years.

As Chief Operating Officer, Phil oversees the strategic and operational direction of the firm to enable Partners and the wider M+A team to be as effective as possible in the delivery of their services to clients.

“Making sure we are resourceful, responsive and operationally efficient is key to helping our team deliver a high quality of client service. However, it’s also important that we create a collaborative workplace, sharing ideas and knowledge, whilst encouraging continuous learning.

It is my role to ensure we have a strategy that combines operational responsibilities with a commitment to the development of our firm and our people - creating opportunities for progression and enabling us to deliver the future ambitions of our clients."

Emma joined M+A Partners in September 2021 and is our People & Culture Manager.

Emma graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a First Class Honours degree in Psychology in 2017. More recently, Emma successfully completed her CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management in December 2023.

Prior to joining M+A Partners, Emma worked in HR for a large International Retailer based in Norfolk and a Conservation and Education Charity based in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Emma provides assistance across the firm to coordinate effective HR Management.

Sophie joined M+A Partners in May 2024 as our People & Culture Trainee and was promoted to People & Culture Assistant after qualifying CIPD Level 3 in June 2025.


Sophie graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2023 with a First-Class Honours Psychology degree.
